DIY All Natural Yoga Mat Cleaner

If you go through your yoga practice without sweating a drop and always wash your hands before and after your flow, chances are you still have microorganisms growing there without a proper cleaner. I went to school for Biotechnology with a specialty in aseptic conditions and clean room environements which basically means, now I have this super heightened fear of little microscopic critters littering my precious yoga mat.
How do I keep my mat clean and smelling nice naturally? Check out the simple recipe below to make that happen! Of course, add or take away from the amounts listed to suit your nose better!

By keeping your mat clean it will smell nice always, keep your hands and feet clean without worries of unwelcome bacterial, and you're far less likely to be slipping and sliding through your practice with a clean mat!

3/4 cup of water
1/4 cup witch hazel or white vinegar
3-5 drops tea tree oil
3-5 drops lavender oil
3-5 drops eucalyptus oil
Pour all of the contents into a spray bottle (you can find 1 cup spray bottles at Walmart for $1) and spray after your practice and then wipe your mat down to dry!
No microscopic creepy crawlies for you or your favorite yoga mat!
